This season, all beer and wine sales, at the Oak Brook Park Districts Summer Concert Series, will benefit the Raise It for Rao fundraiser to help build Oak Brook's new outdoor pickleball courts.
Rao wasn't just a passionate pickleball player, he was one of our most dedicated volunteers. He loved helping at community events, especially serving guests and bringing people together.
Launching the Raise It for Rao Fundraising Campaign has been a remarkable effort led by the Oak Brook Park District Foundation alongside the Devata Family, all united by a shared vision to bring the Outdoor Pickleball Project to life.

The Winter Lights at Central Park will be back nightly from November 21 through January 4 from 4:30-9:30pm!
Enjoy the amazing moving displays, a half mile loop that will help your family and friends create lasting memories.
New this year, a Sensory Time, from 4:00-4:30pm, for those who prefer a calmer experience.
During this time, lights will remain still, and music will be paused, offering a quieter way to enjoy the experience.
This year’s Summer Concert Series was one to remember! Warm summer nights, incredible performances, and a cold drink in hand brought the community together and helped raise important funds for future events and programs at the Park District.
The Park District welcomed record crowds, filling the park with energy all season long. Beverage sales topped previous years, making this our most successful concert season yet. Even better, every dollar raised supports the Oak Brook Park District Foundation, keeping free, family-friendly programming thriving in our community.
Get ready, Oak Brook, summer nights are about to get a whole lot more exciting! The Oak Brook Park District is turning up the volume with the return of its Summer Concert Series, and you’re invited to soak in the music, the community spirit, and the summer vibes under the open sky.
Once again, the Oak Brook Park District Foundation will be serving up cold drinks and tasty snacks at the concession stand, all for a meaningful cause. Proceeds will go toward the final stretch of funding for the much-anticipated Swim Central Aquatic Video Display Board.
An unforgettable day at the Pink 5K! With clear skies, perfect weather, and a record-breaking turnout, the energy was nothing short of amazing. Runners, walkers, and supporters of all ages came together for a morning filled with joy, community spirit, and purpose.
After years of dedication, perseverance, and community spirit, we are thrilled to announce the successful completion of The Sandlot Playground campaign! This universal playground, designed to be accessible for individuals of all abilities, is more than just a play space—it’s a place where barriers are broken, friendships are formed, and every child can experience the joy of play.
A Heartwarming Community Celebration
The Winter Lights at Central Park was held from November 22 through January 5, illuminated our community with the magic of the season, drawing an impressive attendance of over 61,000+ visitors. This festive celebration not only brightened our parks but also made a significant impact, raising over $7,000+ in donations for which will be split equally between the Peoples Resource Center and the Oak Brook Park District Foundation.
