Fundraiser Breaks Records with Concessions and Amphitheater Debut
The recent refreshment fundraiser during the Oak Brook Park District Summer Concert Series, featuring cold beers, wine, and the highly anticipated honey raffle, was a resounding success! Held at the park district’s new concession stand located at the Oaks Amphitheater, the event not only exceeded fundraising goals but also brought the community together in a vibrant weekly celebration.
Thanks to the newly-installed concession stand, everything ran smoothly. Attendees were able to grab their favorite drinks—ice-cold beers and fine wines—more efficiently than ever before. The modern amenities helped streamline the process, allowing everyone to enjoy the event without long waits.
The honey raffle, a crowd favorite, added to the excitement, with participants eagerly purchasing tickets for a chance to win locally sourced honey. With the added convenience of the upgraded facilities, organizers were able to sell more raffle tickets than anticipated, boosting the fundraiser's total even further.
This year’s event also marked the official use of the park district's new outdoor recreation area, the future home of all upcoming outdoor events. For those interested in leaving a lasting legacy in our community, naming rights for the amphitheater are now available! It’s a fantastic opportunity for individuals or businesses to play a role in the growth of the park while gaining visibility through a dedicated space.
To inquire about naming rights for the amphitheater or learn more about supporting future events, please contact the park district office.
The success of the event wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the park district team, the Foundation Board Member volunteers, and of course, the enthusiastic community members who came out to support.
We look forward to seeing everyone again next year for another round of fun, community spirit, and even colder beers!
